Our Duties
Kineepik supports Pinehouse through the Duty to Consult process by helping track, organize, and respond to consultation activities.
This work helps ensure Pinehouse concerns are clearly documented and communicated.
Kineepik supports preparation for and participation in CNSC engagement. We help break down technical information and support Pinehouse during meetings and follow-up.
Kineepik works on community environmental monitoring that reflects local priorities. This helps Pinehouse monitor changes to land and water over time.
Kineepik supports land use and occupancy work for Pinehouse by documenting how the land is used, part and present. This helps ensure Pinehouse knowledge is included in planning and consultation.
Kineepik assists with reviewing, negotiating, and managing exploration agreements. The focus is on clarity, fairness, and protecting Pinehouse interests.
Kineepik develops plain-language materials for Pinehouse to help explain projects and processes. These materials are designed to be clear, practical, and easy to share.
Kineepik works with Pinehouse on traditional land leasing initiatives that reflect community values and land use. This includes planning and coordination based on Pinehouse priorities.
Kineepik helps document traditional activities and concerns for Pinehouse. This work supports consultation and helps ensure harvesting is considered in project decisions
Kineepik works to develop seasonal calendars showing when important land-based activities take place. These calendars help inform planning throughout the year.
