Kineepik Metis Local
Kineepik Metis Local is a non-profit organization established in 2007 that lives and breathes the core beliefs of the people of this community. Our culture, language, community, land, and knowledge are important and through each department and program, we celebrate them.
KML works tirelessly with all levels of government to access funding and help implement programs, services, and advice to the people of Pinehouse.
It is only through these relationships that we can continue offering our programs, services, and expertise.
The organic growth KML has experienced over the recent years has brought in many programs aimed at reclaiming our heritage, implementing traditional and western science, and empowering our Northern people.
